The Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority has announced the addition of a new national sales manager. This employee will be responsible for selling the newly expanded Pennsylvania Convention Center (PCC).
Megan Tomlinson, the new national sales manager, will sell PCC space to the corporate, technology and hobby markets as well as booking new trade and consumer shows. Tomlinson will also partner with the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, handling sales to national associations based in Washington D.C. and the southern states.
Tomlinson has extensive experience in the convention and tradeshow industry having served for the past thirteen years as national sales manager for the Valley Forge Convention Center.
Tomlinson currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Consumer Shows (NACS) and is an active member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events where she earned Certification in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation. Tomlinson is a native of Bucks County and currently resides in Warminster, Penn.
The Pennsylvania Convention Center recently unveiled the completion of their highly anticipated $787 million dollar expansion. Boasting over one million square feet of saleable meeting and exhibit space, the Pennsylvania Convention Center offers the largest contiguous exhibit space in the northeastern United States with 528,000 square feet and offers the largest convention center ballroom on the east coast.
