Pheasant Run Resort & Spa, a 473-room resort and expo center in St. Charles, Ill., selected a food and beverage director.

Joining the property’s management team is Rick Remington, a 30-year food and beverage pro. He now oversees a team of 140 employees who serve convention services, culinary and catering operations for the 38,000 square-foot expo center, on-site meeting space, and dining outlets, including Jambalaya, Harvest, poolside and golf course guest options.

Remington previously served as food and beverage director for the Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Galena, Ill. Originally from Palatine, Ill., the certified sommelier has enjoyed a career that’s also included important management roles with Starwood Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Resorts and Interstate Hotels in the Chicago area.

An at-home chef and certified sommelier, Remington enjoys time away from work photographing wildlife. He resides in Arlington Heights with his wife, Jennifer.
