The Phoenix Convention Center received a 2010 Inner Circle Award in Association Meetings (AM) magazine’s annual reader poll. The award ranks Phoenix as a top-rated convention center for its high level of service, flexible function space and quality of food and beverage.
AM magazine, which provides industry news pertaining to the management of association meetings, tradeshows and conventions, polls readers annually to rank their preferred venues. Industry executives and meeting planners were asked to vote for hotels, convention & visitors bureaus and convention centers that have “done the best job of handling your meetings or conventions from July 2009 to June 2010.”
Phoenix received the 2010 Inner Circle Award along with the following convention facilities: Boston, Baltimore, San Diego, Tampa Bay, Myrtle Beach, Orange County and Santa Clara convention centers. Other winners include: Colorado Convention Center, Denver; The Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.; Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta; McCormick Place, Chicago; Hawaii Convention Center, Honolulu; Puerto Rico Convention Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the Vancouver Convention Centre, Vancouver, British Columbia.
