Preston Thompson & Lauren Zumbahlen Join Adex Int’l.; Tracy Fujimura Attains CTSM & MBA

Cincinnati, Ohio-based ADEX International, a premier full service corporate marketing company, has hired Preston Thompson as an account executive and Lauren Zumbahlen as a client relations/project associate. Also, Tracy Fujimura, their business development account manager, is celebrating her completion of the Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) program. 

Coming in as an account executive for ADEX International, Thompson brings five years of experience as a professional consultant working in various industries with a strong background in business development and account management. He graduated from Union University in 2015 with a major in marketing and minor in business management and was a starting pitcher for the Union Bulldogs while there. He began his career working in the automotive industry as a product specialist while obtaining a license in all major lines of insurance. He also worked with a start-up healthcare and insurance company assisting them in their business development and marketing campaigns. He identified leads, created presentations for prospective clients and developed marketing material to grow the business.  He then took an opportunity to move into the HR software industry as an executive sales representative at Paycom where he consulted with companies of all industries to enhance their employee engagement and increase the ROI by utilizing technology. 

Thompson’s strong background in account management and development will help him make the transition to ADEX International seamless. He is excited to collaborate with companies to grow their brands while improving marketing and sales initiatives. He is from West Chester, Ohio, and currently lives in the Oakley area of Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoys sports, traveling, golfing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. 

As a client relations/project associate for ADEX International, Zumbahlen brings 10 years of experience in the tradeshow and events industry with a background in account management and advertising sales. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with a degree in psychology she began her career in event management software working with shows such as CES, IPPE, ISSA/Interclean, Process Expo, NBAA, World Ag Expo, E3, MAGIC, Graph and Print Expo. During this time, she worked with show management as well as exhibitors. She managed show dashboards, exhibitor dashboards, built the interactive floor plans, managed onsite booth sales and developed reports as needed. While selling digital, print and mobile advertising to exhibitors as an extension of the event she facilitated exhibitors’ access to their online leads while generating more views, links to their company website and leads prior to the show, proving the ROI of the advertising method. 

With her array of industry experience, Zumbahlen will be assisting Cheryl Wood, director of business development on specific projects for clients at ADEX International. She is looking forward to sales and marketing at ADEX where she can help clients with their events from conception to completion while reaching their highest ROI. She is especially personable which has helped her connect with people and clients around the world. Zumbahlen resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her fiancé and Corgi puppy. She enjoys traveling, cooking, wine, theater, restaurants, hiking and planning events for friends and family. 

Fujimura completed her Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) program in conjunction with earning her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in international business at Xavier University.  She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance with a minor in international business. 

Fujimura has worked at ADEX International for two years.  Her role involves supporting the sales division by attending client show planning meetings, compiling RFPs, organizing presentations and sales literature, and overseeing advertisements. Her primary role is project managing turn-key tradeshows and events for ADEX clients. She works directly with clients to facilitate the design, graphic design and production, services, install and dismantle, and shipping of the client’s tradeshow booth.  She is also involved in overarching strategic objectives in regards to marketing, interviewing/recruiting and long term positioning.
