ROE Visual presented its latest product offerings this month at Infocomm 2018 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The highlight was the launch of its ground-breaking, high-resolution Sapphire LED display along with  several other cutting-edge touring and fixed-installation products. To showcase its expanded offerings, the company built an in-booth theater to present the products to attendees.

The team touted Sapphire’s features, including intersecting frames that offer seamless assembly which they believe is an improvement over traditional rows and columns. They also touted the easy access provided by an integrated eject motor for removing the panels from the frames at any position and front protection treatment for damage prevention with reinforced edges and corners of the individual boards.

Another new product that was showcased was Black Marble, a floor space LED display with a scratch-proof surface, that is also Noiseless, Waterproof and has a wide-viewing angle–described as well balanced between contrast and uniformity. The modules are magnetic and hybrid spotlight design modules are available for a wider range of special effects for lighting design. The product is designed to offer LED floor solutions for concert stages, TV studios, commercial stands and a variety of other creative applications.

The Diamond 2.6 Series was also introduced at the event and offers a life-like viewing experience with the convenience of an ultra-lightweight frame design for a wide range of indoor applications. The system’s carbon and magnesium frame design offers lightweight panels while black LEDs provide high contrast and brightness. Magnetic assembly should make the flexible and curving Diamond 2.6 panels easy to set up and disassemble.

“The Infocomm show is an important exhibition for our industry where major players come together to share experiences and look for new products and innovations,” says Tony Van Moorleghem, product marketing director for Roe Visual. “This year, we are particularly excited to launch our Sapphire platform, showcase the new Diamond 2.6 series and introduce the Black Marble floor panels. As we expand our product offerings, we are expanding our tradeshow team to include our product engineers and product managers.”

The expansion of ROE Academy  was also announced following a series of successful ROE Visual training sessions in the United States. ROE offers a certificate program for lighting technicians and others who complete program on-site at its offices in either  Burbank, Calif., or Leek, The Netherlands. They added that upon special request, the training can be offered off-site. Users of ROE products can learn more about system set-up, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance through the course.
