Shepard Exposition Services adds employees for two markets

Shepard Exposition Services, a provider of services for exhibitions, added two new national sales managers to help support its expanding business in the Orlando and Las Vegas markets.

Alex Shelton will be based in Shepard’s Las Vegas branch and Tony Diehl in its Orlando branch.

“As we continue to grow our business, it’s critical that we maintain our focus on providing the best customer service, experience and success in the industry. We do this by attracting and hiring associates who embody the same values and commitment to service upon which Shepard is built. In short, we only hire the best,” said Richard Maples, executive vice president of sales, Shepard Exposition Services.

During Alex Shelton’s 20 years in the hospitality industry, he has earned the reputation of a strategic sales and marketing leader and relationship-builder who works with his clients to define and deliver meaningful results. His experience with major hotel management organizations, a convention and visitors bureau, and a leading convention and expo center provides him with a unique operational perspective that, when combined with his business skills, make him a valuable client partner.

Tony Diehl also brings a unique blend of experience and skills to Shepard’s national sales team. Prior to his 17 years with the Disney organization in sales and management, Diehl also worked in public relations and honed his experiential skills in theatrical arts and sports management. His commitment to creating experiences that inspire and motivate guests will help Shepard’s clients to evolve their shows as they look for new ways to attract attendees and grow their businesses.
