Global event marketing agency Sparks announced Jan. 19 the promotion of Kristy Elisano to vice president of marketing and public relations. The announcement was made by Jeffrey K. Harrow, the chairman of Sparks.
“Kristy’s creativity, personality and humor come through in all of Sparks’ marketing efforts. She has a unique aptitude for innovative thinking in marketing combined with tactical pragmatism that has served the company and its market presence well,” Harrow said. “It brings me great joy to recognize her publicly for her hard work and dedication.”
Elisano has 11 years of industry experience, including eight years with Sparks, first as business development manager and then director of marketing and public relations. While the new title does bring some expanded strategic management responsibilities, the promotion was given more as recognition of Elisano’ work to date.
“Kristy will continue to lead the development and implementation of worldwide marketing strategies for the company,” Harrow said. “It’s an area in which she excels and one where she can continue to contribute to the direction and future profitability of the company.”

Elisano is based at the company’s headquarters in Philadelphia.
