Steve Duccilli Joins NAPCO Media as Vice President

Philadelphia-based NAPCO Media LLC has announced that Steve Duccilli has joined its Printing and Packaging Group as vice president, brand director, wide-format and industrial printing. Duccilli brings extensive experience in the visual communications industry to the role, previously serving as the editor and/or publisher of Big Picture, Screen Printing, VMSD (Visual Merchandising & Store Design), and other media brands serving the specialty printing field.

In this new position, Duccilli will be responsible for defining and driving brand strategy, integrating new business development, circulation/audience development and marketing. His initial focus will be primarily on the continued growth of Wide-Format Impressions, launched in 2018 to provide authoritative coverage on the industry trends and emerging technologies impacting the visual communications market with a specific focus on innovative, high-margin, wide-format digital inkjet applications. He will serve on the leadership team of the Printing and Packaging Group, which also encompasses the industry-leading brands Printing Impressions, Packaging Impressions, In-Plant Impressions, the Inkjet Summit and the Digital Packaging Summit.

NAPCO Media was acquired by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) in August of 2019, further enhancing the partnership between the two organizations that was formed in 2017 to create a global platform to connect print service providers and suppliers in the graphic and visual communication industry called PRINTING United, which will be held October 23-25 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. SGIA recently announced that the show floor for the inaugural PRINTING United, which replaces the former SGIA Expo, is completely sold out.

“Steve brings a great deal of experience to NAPCO, not just in media, but in the specialty printing segments that have historically been served by SGIA,” says Mark J. Subers, president and CRO of the Printing and Packaging Group, NAPCO Media LLC. “His expertise and strong relationships within those communities will be key assets for NAPCO as we work together with SGIA to serve all of the print communities, which are rapidly evolving and converging.”

“I’m thrilled to be joining the dynamic team in the Printing and Packaging Group,” says Duccilli. “NAPCO has done an amazing job of anticipating the long-term trends in the printing industry and evolving to consistently lead the way forward for print service providers and the vendors who serve them. With the success of PRINTING United and the full joining of forces with SGIA, the foundation has been laid to accelerate the success of both organizations.”

Duccilli was elected to SGIA’s Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies in 2015 and has been a longtime executive committee member for the North American Specialty Printing Manufacturers’ Association (NASMA), as well as the chair of numerous industry conferences and events.
