Team San Jose, which manages San Jose Convention Center and arts and entertainment venues, hired a sales veteran.
Driving sales efforts within the Midwest Corporate and Association market segment is Mara D. Hill Buckner, who will draw on more than 20 years of experience in the convention and visitors’ bureau (CVBs) and hotel sectors to boost bookings through strategic planning, development and direct selling within the Midwest market.

Prior to Team San Jose, Hill Buckner worked as national sales director for The Knowland Group and held positions at Marriott Hotel Corporation, St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission and Hilton Indian Lakes Resort.
