Paradisus Los Cabos is pleased to announce the appointment of Teresa Alfonso as the new managing director of the luxury all-inclusive resort. In this new role, Alfonso will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, as well as establishing the overall strategic direction and vision of the resort.

Alfonso has an impressive hospitality career spanning more than 35 years. Prior to joining the Meliá Hotels International family, she worked with Occidental Hotels & Resorts, serving as a general manager, managing director and VP of operations and brand development for a variety of properties. More recently, she held roles as managing director for The O Property Collection in Turks & Caicos, general manager for Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta, and director of asset management consulting for Buchhalter International Group.

“I am so thrilled to be joining the team at Paradisus Los Cabos and furthering my passion for hospitality management,” says Alfonso. “I look forward to contributing to the success of the resort and upholding the property’s reputation as one of the leading hotels of the world.”

Alfonso obtained a degree in international hospitality and tourist management from the Glion Higher Institute of Education in Monteux, Switzerland, as well as an MBA from the Business School ESADE in Madrid, Spain. She also has a degree in hotel design from Cornell University, and an interior design degree from Parsons School of Design.
