To be held by Texas Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus (TACVB) and hosted by Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, the TACVB 2015 Annual Conference will be an opportunity to connect with Texas convention and visitor professionals. Scheduled for August 3-6 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, the Conference offers education sessions and networking.
A study by the Texas Office of the Governor indicated the Texas travel industry continues to expand with direct travel spending in the state surpassing $67.5 billion annually. The mission of TACVB is to support and help develop the convention and tourism industry in Texas through education and sharing of ideas.
TACVB provides seminars and conferences to train and develop CVB professionals, creative destination marketing strategies to stimulate and motivate sales teams, and industry trend analyses to inform decision making at the local CVB level. The organization provides its members with peer-to-peer idea exchanges, tips on increasing reach through new technology and tools to meet the changing demands of meeting planners and tourists to the great state of Texas.
