The Convention Industry Council (CIC) announces that the 2011 CMP Conclave will be located in Cancun, Mexico. The conference will be held at the Hilton Cancun Golf Resort & Spa on May 9-11, 2011.
As the industry’s only exclusive meeting of Certified Meeting Professionals, the CMP Conclave is a unique event for CMPs who wish to contribute to their profession and network with colleagues. These industry leaders represent associations and corporations, all of which sponsor a wide variety of meetings, conventions, and exhibitions. The event brings together a group of CMPs to work on continued development of the CMP examination, as well as gain valuable continuing-education knowledge.
CIC is excited to partner with Visit Mexico, the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Hilton Cancun Golf Resort & Spa for next year’s event. The support from these organizations and desire to bring the 2011 CMP Conclave to this beautiful location speaks to the increased emphasis of this international designation in the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry.
