Competition to Honor Exceptional Experiential Design at the World’s Largest Tech Event

by Travis Stanton, The Experiential Design Authority (TEDA)

Las Vegas, NV — January 3, 2025 — The Experiential Design Authority (TEDA) is proud to announce that it will be hosting its inaugural Best of Show Stand Awards (aka BOSS Awards) competition at CES 2025, celebrating the incredible experiential exhibits on display throughout the iconic Las Vegas tradeshow. The BOSS Awards will recognize innovations in exhibit design, immersive environments, and experiential marketing.

As the world’s leading event for cutting-edge consumer technology, CES serves as the perfect backdrop for these awards, aiming to spotlight extraordinary design-driven experiences that captivate audiences and reshape how consumers interact with brands. A preliminary panel will name up to 30 finalists, which will be announced on January 10. Then, a panel comprising The Experiential Design Authority advisors will score the finalists, with the top 10 receiving custom trophies to commemorate their achievements. Entries will be evaluated on criteria such as creativity, impact, innovation, guest experience, and overall design excellence. Additionally, a People’s Choice Award will be presented to the stand that earns the most votes on the Exhibit City News website (voting begins January 10).

“We are thrilled to launch the BOSS Awards in partnership with Exhibit City News,” said Travis Stanton, Executive Director of The Experiential Design Authority and Director of Strategy at Storylink Creative. “Our goal is to recognize the most inventive design concepts shaping the future of exhibit design and experiential marketing. As the global leader in showcasing tomorrow’s innovations, CES is the ideal platform to highlight the immense potential of design to engage, inspire, and transform.”

The BOSS Awards are open to companies and organizations exhibiting at CES 2025, and all stands will be automatically considered and evaluated by a preliminary panel. Finalists will be announced via press release on January 10 and honored during an event hosted by Exhibit City News, where the top 10 winners and People’s Choice Award winner will be revealed.

“We look forward to celebrating the kind of incredible exhibits CES has become known for,” said Don Svehla, Founder and Publisher of Exhibit City News. “The BOSS Awards represent the highest standard of excellence in experiential design, and they honor the months of hard work that go into that experiential marketing magic.” As The Experiential Design Authority’s U.S. Media Partner, Exhibit City News, a leading publication covering the tradeshow, event, and experiential marketing sectors, will provide coverage of the BOSS Awards, highlight the winners, and host the online voting portal for the People’s Choice Award.
