The Expo Group is pleased to announce two executive level promotions aligning with the strategic goals of the company.
Mark Robichaud has been promoted to vice president of human resources and administration. Jason Ellenbecker has been promoted to director of operations.
“As The Expo Group continues to exercise our strategic growth plan, the experience and expertise demonstrated by both Mark and Jason have become increasingly vital,” said Randy Pekowski, vice president and COO, Expo Group. “Each of these employees is a strong, creative leader who excels at big-picture landscapes while simultaneously providing detailed insights.”
With almost 20 years of human resources management experience spanning several industries, Robichaud has proven himself to be a valuable leader in terms of organizational development, recruitment and selection, state and federal government regulation compliance, and employee and labor relations. Robichaud earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree in business administration from Colorado Technical University, both with an emphasis in human resources. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Ellenbecker served in the company’s project management department for eight years demonstrating a steadfast work ethic, strong problem-solving skills and energetic internal and external client relations while advancing his career to become senior project manager on PACK EXPO and other key accounts. He has commenced working with the operations team while still personally overseeing the management of several shows during this year of transition.
