Event professionals attending the EXHIBITOR tradeshow scheduled in Las Vegas this March can hone their golfing skills while helping local charities by participating in the Charity Cup Golf Tournament on March 17 at the Painted Desert Golf Club.
“The weather in Las Vegas is ideal in March, and the golf outing is one of the best ways to connect with industry professionals while helping local charities,” said Kraig Shetler, event organizer and president, Boothtraffic.com. “This is the third year the golf event will be held, and it has proven to be highly popular.”
Tournament proceeds will benefit the Randy Smith Foundation and the Exhibit Designers & Producers Association (EDPA). The first three winning teams will be invited to the Meeting Masters Championship scheduled in November. There also will be plenty of prizes for all levels, and various sponsorships are available.
The event is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and a scramble format. Prizes and activities are scheduled for each hole, and the admission price of $150 includes a cart, range time, breakfast and lunch. A cash bar will be available. Non-golfers may attend the networking luncheon for a $25 fee.
