Tim Armstrong has joined Czarnowski as a real-time tech artist out of their Portland, Maine Visualization Studio.
Armstrong has vast and varied experience. Before joining Czarnowski, he worked doing art and programming for interactive training and started his own company (and made a small VR game that is on Steam called BowMage as well as some plugins for the Unreal game engine). He also worked creating R&D hardware prototypes and final hardware for a location based virtual reality attraction and was employed at a vfx company doing work in virtual production and entertainment venues in the Unreal engine. Most recently he worked as an Unreal engineer writing code for a VR attraction’s gameplay systems.
Before all that, when he was younger, he worked at Walt Disney World as a show performer and puppeteer as well as doing some stunt work in some of the Orlando, Fla., area dinner shows.
