Tim Flair has been promoted to the position of Director of Production Services of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO) – the sixth largest convention center in the nation. In his new position he will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, installation, design and preventative/corrective maintenance of all production systems of the facility. Flair will also be responsible for developing, implementing and administering sales plans to solicit, negotiate and contract production-related activities in order to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
For 10 years Flair has worked for the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center as production services sales manager, providing sales and production services for convention center clients. Before joining the MCCNO team, Flair worked for a local production company and learned the ropes in the production industry.
Flair’s work experience also includes a position promoting a local college, recruiting students and helping students with job placement opportunities. His sales experience also included working as a sales representative at a wine and liquor distribution company.
Flair received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Southeastern Louisiana University and his Master of Arts Degree in Education, Administration and Supervision from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Fresh out of college, Flair freelanced with a national production company and the Super Bowl. In his 10 years of working for the Super Bowl, he provided production support for pre-game, halftime and post game events.
With 20 years of experience in the production field, Flair said he “looks forward to taking on new challenges and also growing and advancing the department of production services.”
