Hospitality and convention industry employees who interact with visitors in Greater Hartford were invited to learn first-hand about the Northeast’s newest visitor attraction – the Connecticut Science Center in Downtown Hartford, Conn.
On Nov. 16, the Greater Hartford Convention and Visitors Bureau (GHCVB) hosted a series of familiarization tours to introduce frontline workers to the dynamic attraction that opened this past June and is a unique special event location for conventions and conferences. The tours provide useful information for workers so they can better serve customers and enhance the experiences of visitors.
The GHCVB’s annual tour program is geared toward hotel and motel front desk staff, concierges, telephone operators, bellmen, restaurant wait staff and hosts, cab and bus drivers, police, retail salespeople, ticket booth personnel and staff at area attractions.
