The full-service tradeshow and exhibit design house Lea International USA recently announced the hire of Michelle Gullion as vice president, who will help the organization launch its new U.S.-based office in Costa Mesa.
Gullion has experience in all aspects of event and tradeshow development, including design, construction, sales, customer service and management. Most recently, she worked with Fritkin-Jones Design Group, and oversaw the opening of its West Coast office.
“My experience working in the events, exhibit and tradeshow industries has helped me understand the nuts and bolts of how this business really works,” Gullion said. “I’ve had the opportunity to foster relationships with suppliers and clients alike and look forward to applying that expertise at Lea International USA as we build a vehicle that delivers what our clients are looking for.”
Gullion said she was drawn to the exciting challenge at Lea International and the opportunity to develop its first U.S. office from the ground up.
“Given Lea International’s renowned client base and exceptional track record, this was an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass up,” she said.
The United Kingdom-based Lea International has been designing and managing tradeshow exhibits, events, commercial interiors, retail environments and hospitality suites around the globe for more than 30 years. Its clients include some of the top players in the aerospace, defense, luxury goods and telecommunications industries.
