TS2 announces new show director

hararTS2, Total Solutions Marketing for the Exhibit and Event Professional, announced Feb. 26 that Chris Harar has been promoted to TS2 show director.

In this role, Harar will serve as the main point of contact to industry organizations in regards to TS2, as well as an internal leader for the project team. Harar will be responsible for the implementation of all TS2 initiatives, including the TS2 Preferred Partner Program, a unique education opportunity for show organizers to provide year-round to their exhibitors.


“We are very excited to have Chris on board as show director for TS2,” said Jennifer Hoff, president, events division of National Trade Productions, Inc (NTP), owners and operators of TS2. “This show is obviously important to us and by bringing Chris on in this capacity, we are able to streamline our resources to provide the best event possible.”

Harar has been with National Trade Productions since 2008. He first served as an account executive for Creative Solutions Group, a division of NTP. In this role, he worked with multiple show organizers and associations to facilitate marketing campaigns. In his time at NTP, Harar transitioned to marketing manager for Coverings, a Tradeshow Week 200 event managed by NTP. Chris has also assisted the sales and operations teams on multiple NTP events.

Prior to joining NTP, he served as the show program coordinator at The Vision Council where he implemented promotions designed to increase attendance and satisfaction for the International Vision Expo events. Harar was a participant of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Future Leaders Institute in 2008 and holds a bachelor’s in business administration degree in marketing from James Madison University.

TS2 is sponsored by the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) (www.tsea.org), and the conference program will provide both credits toward the Certified Manager of Exhibits (CME) program as well as continuing education units honored by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
