Reed Exhibitions, the Izmir (Turkey) Convention & Visitors Bureau, which bills itself as the “world’s global center for the events industry,” has been named a sponsor of the EIBTM event. The Izmir bureau’s rotating banner will be featured on the event’s website until the EIBTM concludes.
Officials estimate the Izmar bureau’s banner will be viewed by visitors – mainly meeting and event planners, hosted buyers, exhibitors and press members, more than 1.5 million times. Izmar is located along the Mediterranean coast and officials for the Izmar Convention and Visitors Bureau are positioning the city as a global events destination offering an ideal location, deep-rooted history, Mediterranean warmth and excellent infrastructure.
Guided by the vision to make Izmir become the Mediterranean’s preferred boutique destination for meeting planners, delegates, and leisure visitors, the Izmir Convention & Visitors Bureau primarily aims to advance the economic and social welfare of the city, which is a strong candidate for EXPO 2020.
The Izmir bureau is the one-stop-shop for meeting planners and organizers, seeking unbiased and neutral advice on all aspects of hosting and organizing conventions, tradeshows, incentives and events in the city.
