Visit Phoenix, the city’s official convention and visitors’ bureau, expanded its sales efforts by appointing a new employee and promoting two others.
Joining the bureau is Dennis Park as director of national accounts. In addition, internal promotions went to Rachel Lytle as the membership services manager and Brittany Jaeger as convention services associate manager.
“Dennis has been a part of the fabric and evolution of our downtown, and we are thrilled to have someone with his professionalism, proven skill-set and passion for sales to join our team,” said Lorne Edwards, director of sales, Visit Phoenix.
Park accepted his position for Visit Phoenix’s West Coast Citywide territory. He comes to the bureau after serving as account director for the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. His experience spans 20 years in various hospitality sales and operational leadership capacities with Montelucia Resort, Boulders Resort and The Phoenician.
With a passion for the local community, Park has sat on the board of Walk MS for the past two years, an event that connects people living with Multiple Sclerosis with those who care about them through an annual fund raising event. He is also a K9 rescue activist.
In his spare time, he and his wife enjoy traveling the world, with most recent visits to Germany, Austria and Playa del Carmen.
Rachel Lytle’s nine years at Visit Phoenix includes former roles in convention sales, travel industry sales and membership. In her new position, Lytle will spearhead member services. She plans Visit Phoenix networking events, oversees member listings for Visit Phoenix publications and secures optional membership services.
Lytle graduated from Arizona State University. She enjoys exploring the great Phoenix outdoors with her chocolate labs and creating healthy culinary creations.
Brittany Jaeger’s duties include convention assistance for hotel/resort groups, DC Citywide Groups and all sports groups. Jaeger previously served as the meetings coordinator and association manager for KCA Meeting and Events. She joined the Visit Phoenix services team in 2007 and provided convention assistance for hotel and resort groups across the valley. Her knowledge of over 1,500 members makes Jaeger a leader in convention services lead distribution.
A native of Arizona, Jaeger graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and Tourism in 2005.
