Xperiential Marketplace (XM) has launched a new buying group and education platform for experiential builders. The company says the program will help builders streamline purchasing, strengthen vendor partnerships, and improve business performance. The launch is supported by 23 Strategic Partners, including Classic Exhibits, Corp-Events New England, AGAM, BannerBug USA, Birttani Display, The Inside Track, and others.
XM was founded by industry veterans Jason Weddle and Rob Cohen. Their goal is to connect experience-driven firms with vetted partners through a model that blends group purchasing with practical, on-demand education.
Founders Share Their Goals for the Platform
Cohen says the buying group supports stronger partnerships between builders and partner vendors. Cohen says, “While experiential builder membership in XM affords access to an industry buying group to drive partnerships between experiential builders and strategic partner vendors – the long-term goal of XM is help business owners better drive their bottom-line performance to create more value in their companies.”
Weddle says the education layer helps companies get information more easily. According to Weddle, “Through education, available online and on demand, Strategic Partners will gain improved access to decision makers at experiential builders. This form of education will also decrease the burden on the time of personnel at companies – while getting the education they need to partner with valued strategic partners for goods and services.”
Support Available for Builders
XM, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, says the platform provides access to a range of products and services. These offerings support production, fabrication, logistics, and business operations. Membership is open to experiential builders. The company also says more Strategic Partners may join as the program grows.
