The Scotiabank Convention Centre (SCCN) in Niagara Falls has announced the recent selection of sales manager Amy Duffy, CMP, as VP of membership for Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Toronto Chapter.
“I am thrilled to be chosen for this role,” said Amy Duffy, who has been an active member of MPI for the past eight years. “It is a natural fit, and I am looking forward to working closely with these extraordinary individuals.”
In addition to serving as a voting member of the MPI Toronto Chapter Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Duffy will be applying her energies and enthusiasm to a large number of MPI Toronto projects, including: growth and development activities.
“Duffy is an exceptional sales professional at the Scotiabank Convention Centre,” said Gael Little, CMP, CMM, director of sales at the SCCN. “She brings an incredible level of energy and commitment to excellence to our team of solution providers. We take pride in the positive role she will play in the coming year.”
With a membership of 800 meeting professionals, the MPI Toronto Chapter is the largest in Canada and the seventh largest MPI Chapter internationally.
