A partnership agreement has been established between the UK-based exhibition organizing company Reed Exhibitions, responsible for nearly 500 exhibitions in 39 countries, and Tüyap, the organizer of 110 exhibitions annually, operating in 5 cities with 500 employees throughout Turkey.
The combined professional experience of both groups, which spans about 85 years, has been brought together under the banner of “Reed Tüyap” in cooperation with Tuyap Fairs and Exhibitions Inc., and Reed Exhibitions.
The fairs organized by Tüyap in the medical sector: Expomed and Labtech, Eurasian Packaging and Food Processing Fairs and Foodist Food Fair, Mamtech İstanbul Shop, Marketing Systems and Logistics Fair, Private Label and Horeca İstanbul Fair (organized for Hotel & Restaurant Industries) will initially be organized by “Reed Tuyap Fairs Inc.”
“In today’s world, commercial fairs organized in the proper manner by reliable companies offer effective sales, marketing and networking opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors to grow and enhance their business,” said Bülent ÜNAL, Chairman of TÜYAP. “This effort enhanced by a global joint partnership will no doubt play an important and positive role in the development of regional commerce.”
This cooperation, initially established for a group of İstanbul Fairs, will offer a variety of opportunities and will enable Reed Exhibitions’ 6 million and Tuyap’s 3 million tradeshow participants to be effective players in new markets.
“Tuyap is the leading player in Turkey, highly regarded and of extreme importance to the exhibition market within Eurasia,” said Mike Rusbridge, CEO of Reed Exhibitions. “Our partnership agreement is of strategic importance to Reed Exhibitions; it complements our structure of a global network of companies with local expertise and the synergy of Tuyap’s portfolio with our own gives us excellent opportunities to expand our offering to customers. Tuyap’s in-depth knowledge and 33 years of experience make them the ideal partner for Reed to develop its portfolio into the Turkish market, a growth region of significant importance to us.”
