ibtm China Launches Search for Speakers for 2017 Beijing Show

ibtm Chinaibtm china, part of ibtm events’ global portfolio of meetings and events industry (also known as MICE) trade shows, has launched a search for international speakers for the market-leading Knowledge Program at its 2017 event, which takes place in Beijing from 23- 24 August.

Attracting over 5,500 high-profile international and domestic MICE delegates each year, the event’s Knowledge forum, of which the speaker roster is the lynchpin, is a major draw for attendees, with numbers at the forum’s sessions increasing by 40% year-on-year in 2016.

Event Director, Cici Chen, commented: “Given the MICE market in China is still in its relative infancy, it’s growing exponentially each year, as therefore is the scale of our event, and our delegates have a huge appetite for learning. Testament to this is the growing popularity of our Knowledge Programme through which we aim to offer our delegates a programme which educates, motivates and inspires. With the sessions having been so successful last year we’re now looking to enhance the programme for ibtm china 2017 with cutting-edge thought-provoking sessions covering topics of inherent interest to the MICE industry.

“We’re welcoming speaker applications from thought leaders, educators and subject matter experts able to deliver engaging sessions with content and context relevant to the MICE industry, whether that be technology, future trends, creating immersive experiences or experts on cross cultural business negotiations.

“With a high calibre international audience, ibtm china is a great platform for speakers looking to raise their profile globally as well as an ideal opportunity to forge valuable new business connections.”

The ibtm team is inviting applications from speakers able to deliver engaging sessions that fit within seven key themes for the ibtm china 2017 Knowledge Program: Emerging trends and future-gazing; Technology; Creativity and inspiration –  specifically trends in meeting and event design, and curating immersive events; Professional development and productivity; The Sharing Economy; Sustainability and cross-cultural business negotiation. All speeches are simultaneously translated in order to ensure their reach is as broad as possible.

Interested parties can apply through the ibtm events website and will benefit from networking opportunities and personal branding to China market. Travel and accommodation packages are also available.

Exhibitors include international venues, hotels, destinations, technology, business travel and events services providers and the show attracts buyers, event planners and all those involved in the decision-making process for meetings, events, conferences, and incentives, as well as those involved in booking and buying business travel/group travel.

The itinerary for the event has been specifically designed to ensure it offers the very best environment for doing business. As well as the enhanced Knowledge Programme, the 2017 event will also include a dedicated training opportunity for international exhibitors and a number of tailored onsite exhibitor events.
