A tradeshow industry veteran has joined Moss in the firm’s newly created position of executive vice president of business development and chief marketing officer.
Dan Patterson joins Moss after working the prior 10 years as senior vice president and general manager of the Detroit and Nashville markets for George P. Johnson, an experience-marketing firm based in Torrance, Calif.
“We are very pleased to have Dan join our organization,” said Charles J. Corsentino, chairman, president and CEO, Moss. “We are confident that his extensive leadership qualities and general management skills will have a significant positive impact on Moss’ business and will provide our customers with added value by enhancing our service and product offerings.”
While with George P. Johnson, Patterson led two U.S. divisions, including the company’s largest regional headquarters. He primarily was responsible for global delivery of conferences, tradeshows, exhibitions and events.
“Dan’s extensive background in our industry will ensure that we continue to grow and prosper,” said Shelly Alex, senior vice president of sales, Moss.
Patterson also was president and general manager of Exhibitgroup/Giltspur Chicago, where he oversaw two major strategic acquisitions, increased efficiencies, reduced costs and increased product-line penetration. Patterson earned a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.
With operations in Chicago, Maine, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, New York and California, Moss is a global provider of tension-fabric structures, display hardware and printed graphics for the events, exhibitions, sports and retail interiors markets.
