EDPA Scholarship Golf Classic a Great Success

The 16th annual EDPA Scholarship Golf Classic, dedicated to the memory of TVI’s “Big Steve” Barry, was a great success. About 80 golfers took to the links for fun, fellowship and a good cause and Mother Nature cooperated with temperatures that stayed in the 90s. The first 2018 Las Vegas based scholarship recipient, Madison Upton (pictured right), and her father, Mike Upton from Elevation3D, attended the luncheon and thanked everyone for their generosity and support. The raffle featured extraordinary prizes — including a Vegas Golden Knights autographed hockey puck, a VGK golf bag, a VGK themed basket, a trip to New Jersey, two-night hotel stays from both MGM properties and Caesars properties, show tickets (including Tape Face), an Amazon Echo, a robotic arm (won by Rebecca Thompson and promptly given to teenaged Dillon Cordaro) and SO many more prizes.

Golf tournament winners included:

First place (team pictured left with Rebecca Thompson) with a score of 53 were: Bernie Massett – MC2 Las Vegas, Jason Vince – Freeman, Hector Buendia – CDS, and Joe Lescenski – Bron Tapes

Second place with a score of 55 were: Mike Counterman – MC2 Kingman, Pete O. Stevens – MC2 Kingman, John Lopez – MC2 Las Vegas, and Chris Kowolczk – MC2 Kingman

Third place with a score of 55 was the Cordaro family from Las Vegas Expo: Bob, Troy, Nick and Dillon
