The second annual Inside Conference, taking place Aug. 30-31 in Rovinj, Croatia, offers a look into the future of meetings design and will bring new content to Southeastern European countries by combining training, teasers and practical examples along with keynote speakers.
Aimed at Croatian meeting professionals who like to keep up with meeting industry trends, Inside will also offer networking with meeting professionals.
Holding a three-part workshop, a mixture of experiential learning and insights, is keynote speaker, Mike van der Vijver, managing partner at MindMeeting BV. Through theory and new knowledge, van der Vijver will explain meeting design. He will answer questions, such as “What are the characteristics of meetings as a form of communication?” and “What distinguishes them from other forms of communication?”
Coming from Bruketa&Žinić, an advertising agency, Davor Bruketa will discuss the visual identity of the Inside venue and the design of Croatia’s Hotel Lone, which is said to represent a design-focused synergy of functionality, harmony and elegance.
Delegates will experience how meeting design works in practice, and how to design a conference will be discussed. Representatives of Belgrade Design Week, an international conference known for its workshops, master classes and exhibitions, will reveal what makes their event successful.
The Solution Room, a peer-to-peer and participant-led session that puts delegates in the driving seat, will be introduced toward the end of Inside.
