International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), a large association of the exhibitions and events industry, partnered with the China Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (CIBTM) to provide educational content during the 2013 CIBTM from Sept. 2-4, in Beijing, China.
To engage CIBTM attendees in the show’s Learning Theatre, IAEE will host education sessions focusing on expertise and best practices for the exhibitions and events industry, and the association will also co-produce the educational content.
“In an ongoing effort to embrace new partners in collaborative efforts, we are very excited to work with CIBTM on this strategic initiative and increase awareness about IAEE in Asia. Our priority is to provide new, global opportunities for our members so they can maximize their potential for success,” David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA, president and CEO, IAEE.
Offering attendees a chance to get a deeper understanding of the exhibitions and events industry, DuBois will participate on an educational panel during the program.
“We are delighted to have partnered with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events,” said Jeffrey Xu, project manager, CIBTM, Reed Travel Exhibitions. “The education program is a key component of the show, and it is vital that we continue to deliver cutting-edge content that will support the business objectives and career development of all of our attendees.”
CIBTM forms part of the Reed Travel Exhibitions’ meetings, events and business travel portfolio. Reed Travel Exhibitions is a world provider of exhibitions in the travel and tourism industry.
