International Market Centers (IMC) announced today changes to its furniture and home décor leasing team, with one new hire—Dale Schmidlin, director of home décor leasing—and two internal promotions: Chris Amos, director of home décor leasing; and John Dwiggins, director of furniture leasing.

“We are delighted to have 15 seasoned industry professionals on IMC’s furniture and home décor leasing team,” says Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing for IMC. “Dale brings tremendous industry experience to our team, and Chris and John have a familiarity with IMC’s markets in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas that will serve our customers very well, both now and in the future.”

Schmidlin joins IMC with 17 years of experience in the home furnishings industry, including stints with Christopher Guy, Rose Furniture Company and Baker Furniture. As a member of the leasing team, Schmidlin will manage home décor responsibilities on the High Point, Atlanta and Las Vegas campuses. He studied industrial relations and psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will report to Julie Messner, senior vice president of furniture and home décor leasing.

Amos, who will oversee home décor responsibilities on the High Point, Atlanta and Las Vegas campuses, also reports to Messner. Amos began working with IMC’s tenant relations team in 2015, and brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the position. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in interior design.

Dwiggins will oversee furniture leasing responsibilities in High Point and Las Vegas, reporting to Ryan Mahoney, senior vice president of furniture leasing. Prior to coming to IMC in 2018 as the manager of security services over IMC properties in High Point, Dwiggins worked in various security roles. He graduated from Elon University with a degree in social sciences.
