“Here’s come Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right through Shark Reef Aquarium. Sharks and sea turtles and schools of fish, joining in on the Vegas holiday fun.”
Shark Reef Aquarium’s Old Saint Nick—better known as “Diving Santa”—can be seen making his list and checking it twice while underwater in the popular shipwreck exhibit, filled with sharks, sea turtles and Bowmouth Guitarfish, among other species. “Diving Santa” will appear at miscellaneous times from Dec. 21-24.
Additionally, guests visiting Shark Reef Aquarium Dec. 19-24 will have the opportunity to take home a special photo memory with “Diving Santa.” Upon entry, a photo in front of a green screen will be captured and after a little holiday magic, the final image can be picked up at the conclusion of the aquarium visit. Children 12 and under will receive one complimentary 4×6” image per admission purchased.
Shark Reef Aquarium features more than 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranhas and a Komodo dragon, as well as the Undersea Explorer VR Theater. Shark Reef Aquarium is open daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. To manage capacity limits and provide for physical distancing, the venue has timed ticket entry. Tickets can be purchased online and information on pricing is available here. Advance reservations are recommended.
