General Formulations has named Andrew Plowman regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic. He will support customers, distributors, and partners across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.
Plowman brings more than a decade of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product management, sales, and marketing. His background includes work in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. In addition, he holds certifications in product marketing, product management, and lead auditing.
“Andrew brings a rare mix of chemical engineering expertise, proven sales and territory management experience, and an entrepreneurial mindset,” said Andrew Bishop, vice president of sales at General Formulations. “He’s customer-first to his core and brings the kind of high-activity engagement that will make an immediate impact in the Mid-Atlantic.”
Meanwhile, Plowman said he was drawn to the company’s focus on customer service and support.
In his new role, he will work with customers and distribution partners throughout the region. He will focus on application needs and business opportunities.
