The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will bring an estimated 6,200 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions to four electronics and lighting fairs in October, with artificial intelligence, robotics, immersive displays and smart-city technology among the major themes.
The 46th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and 29th electronicAsia will run Oct. 13–16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Later in the month, the 11th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will take place Oct. 26–29 at AsiaWorld-Expo, while the 28th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will run Oct. 27–30 at the convention center.
Together, the four events will span consumer electronics, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, future industries, smart lighting and smart-city applications.
3,200 Exhibitors Open the Month
The Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia are expected to bring together more than 3,200 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions.
A new Future Industries Zone will focus on five areas: future computing, future manufacturing, future marine and quantum technologies, future microelectronics and future wellness. More than 100 exhibitors are expected in the zone, including Lenovo, AV Concept and GP Energy Tech.
The fair will also introduce a Top 100 Future Industries Pioneer List, along with a startup pitching competition and forums focused on technology, talent development and business opportunities.
HKTDC is also adding a GoGlobal Connect Zone designed to connect companies from mainland China with international markets and professional service providers in Hong Kong.
More Than 120 Robots
AI and robotics will have a major presence throughout the Electronics Fair.
More than 120 robots are expected to appear, primarily within RoboPark. The displays will cover commercial and service applications, industrial and logistics uses, entertainment and social robotics, and health care and rehabilitation.
The lineup includes humanoid robots, robotic dogs, an AI exoskeleton and interactive demonstrations. RoboPark will also feature robot soccer, a Robot Dance Battle and stations where robots serve coffee and popcorn.
Elsewhere on the show floor, the Electronics Fair will feature more than 20 themed zones. Its Hall of Fame alone will showcase products from more than 560 electronics brands.
More than 120 emerging companies and startups are also expected to participate, primarily through the Startup Zone.

Immersive Tech Moves Onto the Show Floor
Adventure Hub will include an Immersive Experience Zone focused on virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), interactive gaming and other creative technologies.
One experience will allow visitors to operate games through brainwave-controlled sensors using concentration rather than physical controls.
The NEXTEntertainment theme will extend that focus to extended reality, smart gaming, digital content creation tools and AI-powered entertainment.
Concurrent electronicAsia will concentrate on semiconductors, sensors, electronic components and manufacturing technologies as the electronics supply chain adapts to growing demand from AI and digital transformation.

3,000 Exhibitors Turn to Lighting
The two lighting fairs later in October are expected to attract about 3,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions.
The Hong Kong International Lighting Fair will include a Hall of Connected Lighting featuring more than 60 brands and immersive lighting installations. Participants include Signify, Casambi, TUYA, Inventronics and other international lighting and smart-building companies.
Signify will collaborate with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team on a racing simulator experience that uses lighting technology to extend the experience beyond the screen.
The fair’s Hall of Aurora will feature about 500 lighting brands.
LEDs Built for Exhibits
A new LED Display Solution Zone will have particular relevance for the exhibit and events industry.
The zone will feature LED video walls, commercial displays, transparent and flexible LED panels, immersive audiovisual systems and integrated display technology. Applications will range from retail environments and corporate presentations to exhibitions and virtual production.
Ledman Hong Kong will show its QS Series IceScreen LED Display, which was used at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The company will also display its LEDHUB Smart Conference Solution, combining large-format displays, video conferencing and collaboration tools.
Smart Cities by the Tens of Thousands
The Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will focus on smart poles, industrial lighting, architectural lighting and smart-city infrastructure.
Fonda Technology will demonstrate a smart lighting system built around its FondaCity AIoT Cloud Platform. About 70,000 smart streetlight control devices have already been deployed as part of a project in Hong Kong’s New Territories West.
The system combines lighting controls with solar energy, motion sensing and communications technology while allowing city managers to monitor operations in real time.
Four Fairs, Two Venues
HKTDC will provide complimentary shuttle service between the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and AsiaWorld-Expo during the exhibition period.
The four events will also use HKTDC’s EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, combining in-person exhibitions with online business matching.
Online participation for the Electronics Fair and electronicAsia will run Oct. 6–23. The online portion of the two lighting fairs will run Oct. 19–Nov. 6.
