With respect to the “weight of the lift,” audio and visual (A/V), staging, and lighting have the most immediate effect on cost efficiency for a supply chain. It makes sense that this element of the event supply chain were early adopters even if they did not realize they were being more sustainable.

EuroShop Through Fresh Eyes and Industry Experience

At the end of February, I attended my first EuroShop. Held in Düsseldorf, Germany, this premier international retail expo takes place once every three years. According to Messe Düsseldorf, the 2026 edition welcomed more than 81,000 trade visitors from 141 countries and featured 1,840 exhibitors from 61 countries across 14 halls. There was no shortage of innovation, conversation, and, of course, beautiful stands.

Venue Lead Times Stretch as Hybrid Planning Becomes the Norm

Corporate event planning is moving earlier and getting more complex, according to a new Booking.com for Business report on 2026 trends.

Booking.com for Business says companies are investing more in live events again, while keeping virtual access as part of the standard format. The report forecasts the corporate events market will reach $595 billion by 2029 and says 74 percent of Fortune 1000 companies plan to increase event budgets in 2025.

Legacy, a Century in the Making

In the quiet moments before a trade show floor awakens, before the lights hum on and before the carpet gathers its first footprint, a newly built exhibit waits in perfect stillness. Every detail is intentional. Graphics are crisp, finishes precise, and the space feels ready for curiosity, excitement, recognition, and connection.
