Building the Team for 2027
The four bring experience across event strategy, business development, marketing and live content.
Staszewski most recently served as vice president of marketing for NTP Events, where she worked on events including SpaceCom, APTA and NAB Show. She has spent 13 years in the event and trade show industry building audiences, partnerships and stakeholder engagement.

Wooten-Smith brings more than 15 years of experience developing conferences and live content. She previously led executive summits at Coqual for more than 500 leaders and professionals from Fortune 500 and other global companies. She also served as vice president of events at Magnet Media and held senior production roles at Essence Communications.

Sayen brings more than 25 years of experience working with manufacturers, dealer networks, buying groups, architects and designers. Most recently, she worked at LK & Associates, where she managed dealer engagement and communications programs supporting more than 30 partner brands. She was also named a CE Pro 40 Women to Watch honoree in 2024 and has served as a CEDIA Outreach Instructor.

Larsen joins AVIXA after more than 20 years with CEDIA. As director of business development and sales, she built relationships with residential integrators, manufacturers and industry partners while supporting membership, sponsorship and revenue growth.

RESIDE and Lightapalooza Join InfoComm
RESIDE will debut at InfoComm 2027 as an event for integrators, manufacturers and service providers serving the residential market. AVIXA is developing the show through a joint venture with Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) and ProSource.
Lightapalooza, which launched in 2022, will also join InfoComm 2027. The residential lighting event grew from 225 attendees in its first year to more than 1,600 in 2026.
“As we prepare for RESIDE and Lightapalooza to debut at InfoComm 2027, it was important to assemble a team that understands the needs of this community and opportunities ahead,” said Jenn Heinold, senior vice president, expositions, Americas, at AVIXA.
AVIXA CEO David Labuskes said the organization sees the two shows as an opportunity to bring together professionals shaping the future of residential technology.
