Reynolds brings experience in hospitality, events, and business development. His background includes roles with Malmaison, Hotel du Vin, Moxy Hotels, and Marriott Hotels.

He began his career in event agency roles with tobook and Conference Care. Later, he moved into proactive account management and worked with major blue-chip clients.

“The opportunity to represent such a versatile venue and hotel was a huge attraction for me,” Reynolds says. “The Eastside Rooms offers a purpose-built event space in the heart of Birmingham, alongside the strength of an adjoining Marriott-branded hotel.”

Venue includes event space and hotel access

The Eastside Rooms offers 23 meeting and event spaces, including the Affinity Suite, a pillar-free ballroom with capacity for up to 1,200 delegates. The venue is directly connected to the 195-room Aloft Birmingham Eastside, part of the Marriott group.

The venue serves conferences, meetings, exhibitions, awards, association events, and corporate programs in Birmingham’s Eastside district.

“Chris brings exactly the right combination of hospitality experience, commercial understanding, and people-first relationship building to this role,” says Tim Sparrow, general manager at The Eastside Rooms. “His background across agencies, hotels, and major hospitality brands gives him a strong understanding of what clients need from a venue partner, not just during the sales process but throughout the full event journey.”

Meetings Show appearance planned

Reynolds will attend The Meetings Show June 24-25 on stand B53.
