CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has acquired ABC Special Event Rentals in the Seattle, Wash. metropolitan area, providing the company with an expanded range of products and services, including rental furniture from CORT Event Furnishings.
The rental furniture, equipment and services from CORT and ABC Special Event Rentals by CORT will soon be available in two additional showrooms in the Seattle area, providing event planners, caterers, corporations and other customers with convenient access to a broad range of event and party rental products and services.
“This acquisition allows us to provide a single source solution throughout the state of Washington while providing the quality, service and trust customers have come to expect from both companies,” said Mike Davis, VP of CORT Trade Show & Event Furnishings. “I am also very pleased that Phil and Alexia Heidt, the owners of ABC, will continue to remain at the helm along with their outstanding team of service professionals.”
