The Deondo Company, the exclusive provider of NOOK Event Pods® in North America, is pleased to announce two new additions to their team. Known for creating quiet, private spaces amidst the noise of exhibit halls, The Deondo Company continues to innovate in the event industry by hiring experienced professionals to enhance their offerings.
Candice Batts
Candice Batts has joined The Deondo Company as a key addition to the NOOK Event Pods® team. Prior to this role, she served as campaign and events manager at Sampled from May 2022 to July 2023, where she led impactful tradeshow and conference experiences, aligning strategies with business goals for maximum ROI. Before that, Batts was a marketing and event coordinator at Pacira BioSciences from January 2020 to April 2022. She brings over a decade of experience as a meeting and event planner with SC Events, LLC, where she managed comprehensive event logistics and developed strong vendor relationships. Batts holds a BA in American Studies from Rutgers University.
Maya Roffler
Maya Roffler has joined The Deondo Company, home of the NOOK Event Pods®, as a valuable addition to the team. Maya, headquartered in Atlanta, has extensive experience in event curation, logistics, strategy, and execution for corporations, nonprofits, and individuals. Since April 2017, she has run her own consulting business, MaYapinion® LLC, which specializes in experiential and virtual events, utilizing platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, and WebEx. Additionally, Roffler is an accomplished podcast host, focusing on leadership and entrepreneurship for women. She previously served as executive director of events at CannaOne from May 2019 to February 2021. Roffler holds a BA in English Literature from Valdosta State University, graduating magna cum laude.
