Columbus Hospitality Management and Cafaro Company open long-awaited venue in northeast Ohio
Columbus Hospitality Management, a seasoned property management company specializing in clubs, restaurants and conference centers, announced that alongside the Cafaro Company, the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles, Ohio, is open and ready to welcome guests.
Michael Patrone (pictured right), general manager of the new full-service event facility, says the Eastwood Event Centre not only fills a need but has great appeal as a destination for all kinds of events. “We have the ability to be the events center between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, and that is something we strive for—to be the new destination between these two markets.”
There is a critical emphasis on modern technology with state-of-the-art projectors, large drop down screens and sophisticated audiovisual capabilities built into the space. While the intention of the technology is to enhance in-person meetings, it took on new importance in the midst of a pandemic, paving the way for successful virtual and hybrid events, as well. The overall design of the facility makes it extremely easy for event hosts to meet all government health and safety regulations, making guests feel safe and comfortable.
At just under 30,000 square feet, with 14-foot ceilings and modern finishes, the facility is able to host a wide variety of events. Along with its beauty and technological attributes, the Centre is extremely flexible. Moveable air walls make it easy to create customize spaces for intimate gatherings of a couple dozen guests or sit-down dinners for 900, all served by an in-house food service team.
