The full-service team of branded environment specialists at Hill & Partners, Inc. created a custom branded environment for Polartec, a longtime client that creates fabrics for individuals working outside, at OutDoor 2013, held July 11-13 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Showcased at the global trade fair for the international outdoor industry was an expanded 18 x 14 meter environment that featured the brands and garment designers announced as winners of the Polartec APEX Awards, which annually recognize designers and companies that produce outstanding and innovative Polartec products. Hill & Partners has maintained Polartec as a client since 1995.

“It was a thrill to once again bring Polartec to this international tradeshow,” said Michael McMahon, president and CEO, Hill & Partners, Inc. “We take pride in the numerous branded projects we have designed and managed abroad and in the wide network of partners we maintain both nationally and internationally.”

The Hill & Partners creative team worked with Polartec to incorporate all APEX Awards winners throughout the thematic branded environment, which was achieved by utilizing eye-catching overhead signage, large vibrant wall murals, video looping APEX Awards on various strategically placed monitors, and lining the outer aisle walls of the custom branded design with lenticular three-dimensional style posters that caught the eye of passersby.

As it has in past years, Hill & Partners assisted Polartec in the coordination of the annual first-night party, held within the custom branded environment. This year’s festivity was in harmony with the APEX Awards theme, with Hill & Partners providing a red carpet roll out, staging area, audio-visual equipment and a fabric backdrop for award presentation photo opportunities.

The environment provided space for product and garment display, seating, private meeting areas and organized storage. It also incorporated a large functional kitchen and bar where refreshments were provided to visitors.
