Volkswagen will present a keynote session on Oct. 16 at Brand Licensing Europe 2013, an event for retailers, licensees and sales promotion professionals.
“Milestones and Magic – The History of Volkswagen,” will be presented by Dr. Ulrike Gutzmann, a Volkswagen archivist. This session will take place in the Licensing Academy, which offers nine free-to-attend seminars, workshops and panel discussions.
Millions feel enthusiastic or passionate about their Volkswagen. People are excited about a brand new car providing them with up-to-date technical features. Others believe in the reliability of their Volkswagen, making their everyday life comfortable for years to come. There are those who love their vintage Beetle, Camper-Van or Golf, bringing a glimpse of good-old yesterday into their present.
Telling the story of the brand, Dr. Gutzmann will show how the company developed from a car manufacturer in the North German countryside to a global player with 12 brands and more than 100 factories on four continents. She will introduce people and products and the history of Germany`s automobile ambassador.
