On Location, a nationwide provider of labor and management services for exhibits, events and environments, announces the expansion of its Las Vegas sales and operations team with the addition of two new hires. As a result of continued business growth, the company has hired Kim Wilkins as account executive and ECN ACE “Rookie of the Year” William Goza as floor manager—both to be located in the city and part of the existing On Location Las Vegas I&D team. Together, the expanded team will enhance the company’s client-focused culture and its commitment to exceeding expectations with a pain-free, positive Return on Experience (ROE).
“When I was presented with the opportunity of these new hires, it came at the perfect time,” says Michael Mulry, On Location general manager. “The Las Vegas Convention Center expansion is underway and due to open in 2021, and we are experiencing our own organic growth. Both Kim and Will are great assets and will help strengthen our service commitment and position On Location well today and into the future.”
Industry veteran Wilkins joins On Location with more than 20 years of I&D experience, having held various positions both in sales and operations. She started as a field service supervisor and was quickly promoted to a city manager and ultimately general manager before moving into sales as a senior account executive. With Wilkins’ experience in both operations and sales, she understands client needs and how to meet them. At On Location, her primary responsibilities will focus on new business development and customer acquisition on a nationwide level along with servicing existing clients as a primary liaison between sales and field operations. Mulry says, “Over the years, Kim’s experience and expertise in the Las Vegas market has served her clients well and they will now benefit from On Location’s ability to deliver labor nationwide.” Adds Wilkins, “I’ve known the On Location Las Vegas crew for years and have tremendous respect for their work and client commitment. I look forward to being part of the team.”
William Goza is newer to the I&D industry but in his three short years, he has made a mark. Awarded a 2019 ECN ACE “Rookie of the Year” earlier this year, Goza has been hired as a floor manager for On Location based in the Las Vegas area. He will report to Robert Morrison, On Location regional manager of Nevada, assisting with the coordination and oversight of labor crews to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Goza will also act as an “on the floor” liaison between the labor teams and clients as needed, working multiple shows at varied venues simultaneously. A former member of the decorators union in Southern California, the SoCal native moved to Las Vegas in December 2018. “Being part of On Location, I look forward to supporting Rob and the entire team in making sure all clients’ needs are met and wants are satisfied,” he says. “The company is well-respected—a reputation I’m excited to make even better.”
“Having worked with Will as a Las Vegas extra board, I quickly recognized that he has what it takes to be a manager in this industry,” says Morrison. “I am thrilled to have him as part of our Las Vegas team,” adding, “As for Kim, I have personally worked with her and many of her clients over the years and I know they will quickly recognize the talent and professionalism that On Location offers both here in Las Vegas and nationwide.”
“Last year we expanded our operations team adding East and West Coast managers too,” Mulry continues. “Seeing the positive impact that had on our service, expanding in Las Vegas—one of the busiest tradeshow cities in the world—makes sense,” adding, “As an organization, we are always looking to add talent. Both Kim and Will have great enthusiasm and share our customer-first mindset. Together they will further support the On Location client-centric focus and commitment to ROE.”
