Lavonne Rea was a long-time employee of DCVB, who retired after 26 years of selling Dallas as the ideal destination. This special award annually honors an individual in the hospitality industry who excels in customer service, or who constantly goes above and beyond to make a client happy and satisfied with their Dallas experience.

“Our company has grown almost 1,000 percent with Dianne’s influence on our clients and on two generations of employees learning customer service at her feet,” said Ray Pekowski, founder and CEO, The Expo Group. “From the very beginning, Dianne’s natural desire to help people was evident. It didn’t matter if the customer was spending $100 or $100,000 Dianne always took the time to be sure everything they needed was being done for them.”

Bailey first served as a customer account manager and then team leader before becoming director of the department.

In nominating Bailey for the Service Award, The Expo Group employees communicated how amazing she is at her job and how caring she is of them as people. The company is full of pride today and every day for Bailey and this very deserving honor.
