LVCVA chief awarded 2013 IAEE Pinnacle Award

Accepting this award with humility, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) president and CEO Rossi Ralenkotter was recognized with a Pinnacle award from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

Announced during the IAEE’s annual Expo! Expo! annual meeting in Houston, the award is for achievement in outstanding contributions to the exhibitions and events industry. The recipient is an individual who has achieved IAEE’s objectives of advancing exhibition management over the years.

Ralenkotter, an industry veteran of over 40 years, is tasked with marketing and branding Las Vegas as a top destination for leisure and business travel.

“I’m truly humbled to be in the company of an esteemed group of peers and industry icons who have received the Pinnacle Award in the past,” said Ralenkotter.

“I share this prestigious honor with the talented team at the LVCVA and with all our resort and allied partners who work tirelessly every day to ensure Las Vegas remains the premier destination for leisure and business travel.”

Ralenkotter is a past chair of the U.S. Travel Association and the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board for the U.S. Commerce Department.

The LVCVA is the managerial body that runs the Las Vegas Convention Center, the country’s second largest.
