Fresh from a weeklong venture to Naples, Fla. for the Florida Society of Association Executives’ (FSAE) annual conference, where she was the co-chair, Tampa Bay & Company National Sales Manager Lisa Chamberlain, CMP was presented with the 2010 Rising Star award.
This award honors an FSAE executive member or associate member who has contributed significant time and talent to FSAE’s, or the FSAE Foundation’s success, or within their current job.
“FSAE is such a prestigious organization and I can express what an honor it truly is to be recognized in the industry,” said Chamberlain. “Having made the decision to be committed and more involved several years ago, this experience has provided the opportunity to learn a lot and establish valuable relationships across the industry, which ultimately helps to promote Tampa Bay & Company, and our destination.”
In addition to the Rising Star award, there are two other awards that are given at the annual conference; the executive of the year and the associate of the year awards. The executive of the year award went to Eleanor Warmack, CPRP, CAE, executive director of the Florida Recreation and Park Association. The associate of the year the winner is Karen Hollern, senior account executive, Renaissance Orlando at Sea World.
