ShowNets boosts customer service with two key employees

ShowNets, a provider of custom Internet services for tradeshows, raised its level of customer service by making personnel changes in account management.

The company promoted Pat Swan to director of account management and hired Van Frey as an account manager.

Swan assists ShowNets’ clients, making sure their Internet, network, wireless and connectivity needs are met.

She brings experience from all sides of the table thanks to her hospitality industry career.

As convention services director for Hyatt Hotels; corporate event planner for Visa USA and manager of a historic venue in the U.S. Park Service’s Fort Mason, Swan understands events from the inside and out.

Van will enhance the company’s customer experience by delivering quality Internet and connectivity solutions.

“I’m excited about joining ShowNets and expanding my knowledge of and role in the meeting and convention [industries],” Van said.

Van has enjoyed a career in hospitality meeting management across a variety of venue types. This includes mega resorts to specialized training centers in a variety of locations, such as Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta and Tampa.
