Smart City digital signage available at the LVCC

Many events, including International CES, are now taking advantage of the unique advertising opportunities that the digital signage network installed and maintained by Smart City Networks offers at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).

The digital signage network consists of fourteen video screen and video wall locations throughout the North, Central and South Hall public areas, including a feature video wall with 36 video screens, spanning a space 21 feet long by 12 feet high in the Grand Lobby. In total, the digital signage network at the LVCC consists of 97 high-definition monitors.

The network presents content to thousands of attendees in high traffic locations while also offering show management flexibility on the network’s utilization. Most recently, the digital advertising network added new interactive features allowing show management to engage their attendees with live social network feeds, contests, surveys and games.

As a result of the network’s capability to uniquely enhance the event experience, the Consumer Electronics Association  (CEA) sold all of the advertising space on the LVCC digital signage network for its 2013 International CES in record-setting speed.

“A digital signage network that spans numerous public areas offers a great opportunity for exhibitors and show managers to publicize their products and services directly to the thousands of event attendees in a high impact manner,” said Mark Haley, president, Smart City Networks. “We have seen a great response from events, like CES, in utilizing this new technology to broaden their communications and interact directly with their attendees.”

Recently, Trade Show Executive magazine recognized the digital signage network at the LVCC as the “Most Innovative Tech Initiative Serving Show Management, Exhibitors and Attendees.”

Smart City Networks sells digital advertising on the system to conventions and events held in the facility and assists show managers who wish to sell ads to their exhibitors.  Local attractions, hotels and national advertisers can also advertise on the network.
