SURTEX launches new tool to give insight into exhibitors

Select exhibitors will feature special in-booth activities for buyers attending the 2015 edition of SURTEX, the event for the selling and licensing of original art and design, slated to run May 17-19 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

“SURTEX exhibitors are talented designers and savvy marketers, and many of them are offering at-market activities that mix business with fun,” said Liz Crawford, vice president and group show director, SURTEX. “The SURTEX website details this information within the new SURTEX Planner, a dynamic ‘one stop’ resource for previewing exhibitors and artwork and for planning a market strategy that maximizes both time and money.”

Attendees can use the SURTEX Planner to search exhibitor in-booth offerings which include: Bluebell Design Studios hosting a large tote bag giveaway; Denise Bosler Inc. hosting a free photo booth and snacks; Cloverly Art Collective distributing chocolate “pick-me-ups” from Brooklyn’s Mast Brothers every afternoon at 4:00pm, and COOOL CATS by John A. Conroy hosting a daily, in-booth raffle to give away a hand-printed shirt created by Artist John A. Conroy.

Additionally, the SURTEX Planner lets attendees create a personalized planner for the Market, preview product images and information, contact exhibitors and schedule onsite appointments.
