VisitScotland Business Events Continues Campaign

Year of Coasts & Waters Campaign Flows into 2021

VisitScotland Business Events is pleased to announce the Year of Coasts and Waters campaign continuing into 2021. The VisitScotland Business Events team in North America aims to engage and support the industry with this campaign as it navigates a year of recovery.

An emphasis on wellness and connecting with nature is this year’s priority, and Scotland strives to shine a light on the beautiful natural environments across the country that have always, and continue to, naturally suit social distancing. The great wide-open spaces of Scotland are idyllic and calming environments sure to meet stakeholders’ wellness priorities when the time is right to travel again. Planners and business events industry professionals can be inspired by the Coasts & Waters theme on the VisitScotland website: https://www.visitscotland.com/about/themed-years/coasts-waters/.

In the meantime, VisitScotland Business Events looks forward to continuing to inform industry professionals about the Scottish landscapes and adventures that can be encountered on future business events when the time is right, like the Aberdeenshire Coastal Trail that features 165 miles of dramatic clifftops, enchanting coves, marvelous beaches and wildlife. Scotland covets their natural riches, like Forvie National Nature Reserve and St Cyrus National Nature Reserve, and awaits the day these riches can be shared with the industry once again.

VisitScotland Business Events’ Director of Marketing to the Americas, Richard Knight, aims to keep Scotland’s unique blue spaces, places and experiences top of mind. “While the industry evolves and inches closer towards recovery, the VisitScotland Business Events team is proud to share outdoor inspiration for future business events. Scotland’s vast natural landscapes, from the countryside to the coast, make physical distancing second nature. We are proud of our unrivaled, historic outdoor offerings and will continue to share information until we can once again welcome you to our beautiful country full of innovation, hospitality and lifelong memories” Knight says.
